Watch out for bargain flights to Spain during the last six months of this year!
In a move to encourage tourism on which the Spanish economy largely depends, the government has announced it will pay the tax on behalf of all passengers of airlines who bring in more passengers than they did for the second half of last year-2008.
I would imagine for the airlines to encourage more passengers to travel that they would also have to offer cheaper flights along with the tax cut.
